The problem
One wrong caption can end your career.
Nursing regulators worldwide — from US state Boards of Nursing to the UK NMC, Australia's NMBA, and provincial colleges across Canada — actively review healthcare-creator content for privacy breaches, scope-of-practice violations, and unsupported drug-claim language.
Existing repurposing tools (Opus, Munch, Repurpose.io) treat healthcare creators like any other creator. They don't flag dosing recommendations, diagnostic language, or off-label drug mentions — and they don't adapt to your jurisdiction. Cast does.
What Cast catches that generic tools miss
- Specific medication dosing recommendations
- Diagnostic language outside RN/LPN scope
- Off-label drug mentions without disclaimers
- Unsupported claims ("cures", "treats", "prevents")
- Missing employer-separation language
- Missing ad-disclosure (FTC §255, ASA, ACCC, etc.)
- Platform-mismatched disclaimer length
Who built this
Danielle Gale, RN, BSN
Labor & Delivery · PACU · Hemodialysis · Bariatric RN Case Manager · 20+ years nursing experience
I've spent 20+ years in nursing — Labor & Delivery, PACU, Hemodialysis, and most recently as an RN Case Manager in a bariatric surgery clinic. Across every unit, the same thing was true: HIPAA and scope-of-practice rules are easy to break by accident, especially online.
When I started building my own healthcare content, I realized every repurposing tool on the market would happily turn “some patients are prescribed 600mg” into “take 600mg.” That single edit is the difference between education and prescribing — and most of us were never taught where that line sits on social media.
I'm building Cast as I learn the rules myself, so other nurses, NPs, and clinicians can skip the mistakes I had to research the hard way. Every output runs through a compliance layer that adapts to your jurisdiction — covering health-data privacy, scope of practice, drug-claim language, and ad-disclosure rules wherever you're licensed.
How it works
From one video to eleven posts — in under five minutes.
Upload one video
Drop a TikTok, Reel, YouTube, or podcast file. Audio or video, up to 60 minutes per upload on Pro.
We transcribe and analyze
Whisper-grade transcription. A compliance pass flags HIPAA-adjacent language, dosing claims, and scope-of-practice risks before generation.
Generate 11 platform-native posts
TikTok script with overlay text. Instagram caption. YouTube long-form description. LinkedIn thought-leader post. X thread. Newsletter draft. All compliance-checked.
Download and ship
Each output includes the right disclaimer for the right platform. Pinned-comment text for TikTok. End-of-caption block for Instagram. Description footer for YouTube.
The compliance layer

A real example from the compliance engine. Same input — generic repurposer on the left, Cast on the right.
Generic repurposer output
“Today I'm breaking down how Ozempic works. If you're thinking about it, you should start at 0.25mg and titrate up to 1mg. It cures diabetes and helps you lose weight fast.”
- No disclaimer
- No employer-separation language
- No FTC disclosure if sponsored
Cast — compliance pass applied
“Today I'm breaking down how Ozempic (semaglutide) works. [Specific dosing removed] Some patients are prescribed a titration schedule by their provider. It is approved for type 2 diabetes and can support weight loss for some patients.”
- ✓Employer separation added
- ✓Brand-name drug paired with generic
- ✓Diagnostic claim rephrased to FDA-approved indication
- ✓Dosing recommendation flagged + redacted
HIPAA-safe
We never accept, store, or process PHI. Cast only works with content you've already chosen to make public.
Platform-aware disclaimers
TikTok overlay text ≤30 chars. Instagram caption block. YouTube description footer. LinkedIn credential trail.

Frequently asked
Questions, answered.
Does Cast process patient data (PHI / personal health data)?
No. Cast only works with content you've already chosen to make public. We never accept patient records, identifiable information, or clinical data. We're not a HIPAA Business Associate or a GDPR data processor for clinical data — and we don't need to be, because the compliance layer is designed specifically so you never have to upload patient data in the first place.
What if my licensing body has stricter rules than the defaults?
You can override every disclaimer template in Pro and Team tiers. We ship with disclaimer defaults for the major jurisdictions Cast supports (US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, NZ, EU, and other), and you can layer your own — useful when your provincial college, state board, or NMC guidance is stricter than the default.
Is this only for nurses?
Cast launches with the nurse-compliance profile (RN/LPN) because that's where the gap is most painful, but the full roadmap covers 12 healthcare professions. Next up — nurse practitioners, physician assistants, paramedics, and medical/radiology technologists ship through summer 2026. Pharmacists, dietitians, mental health providers, and physiotherapists follow in fall. Physicians (MD/DO), dentists, and veterinarians ship last (Nov 2026 – Jan 2027) because each one launches in collaboration with a practicing clinician in that profession to validate the compliance prompts before paying users touch them. The generic profile works for any creator today.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. One-click cancel from your dashboard. No retention nonsense. You keep access through the end of your paid period.
How is this different from Opus Clip, Munch, or Repurpose.io?
Those tools turn one video into many clips — but they don't understand compliance. None of them flag dosing recommendations, scope-of-practice language, or unsupported drug claims under your local regulator. None of them auto-append the right disclaimer for each platform or jurisdiction. Cast does. That's the moat.
What does the compliance pass actually do?
Every output runs through a Claude-powered analysis that adapts to your jurisdiction. It checks health-data privacy (HIPAA, PHIPA/PIPEDA, UK/EU GDPR, AU Privacy Act, etc.), scope-of-practice phrasing for your licensing body, drug-claim language for your local regulator (FDA, Health Canada, MHRA, TGA…), and ad-disclosure rules (FTC §255, ASA, ACCC, etc.). It returns severity-rated flags (HIGH / MED / LOW), suggested rewrites, and the right platform-native disclaimer. You stay in control of the final post — Cast doesn't auto-publish.
